Can I add on the EXTREME PREJUDICE expansion to my “Known Enemy” pledge level (since I already own the 1st edition of the game)?

If you need just EXTREME PREJUDICE, many retailers still have the game available, or you can get it at store.privateerpress.com. You can then just get the “Known Enemy” tier for the bonus items.

The Extreme Prejudice expansion is not being reprinted at this time. The limited quantity placed on the Fully Loaded reward tier is based on available stock. Provided stock is available at the end of this campaign (and it looks like there will be), we will offer any remaining copies of the expansion through the post-campaign pledge manager as an add-on, for your convenience.

Will my reward tier get the updated rules?

The “Known Enemy,” “New Operator,” and “Fully Loaded” reward tiers will all receive the updated rules.

Will international shipping rates go down?

Our expectation is that the shipping rates will go down over the course of the campaign. For international backers, a significant amount of the current shipping estimate is due to the overseas freight charges. As we’re working with regional fulfillment services to keep the in-country rates as low as possible, this means the more backers we have in a particular region, the lower the final rates will be because those freight charges will get more spread out. We’ll be tracking each region and adjusting the shipping estimates down appropriately so no one is paying more shipping than is absolutely necessary.

Why no Stretch Goals or Add-Ons?

We felt a streamlined and specific campaign would be of better use to most of the folks looking to get the game. By avoiding Stretch Goals and Add-Ons, we stay focused on getting a solid second edition out to folks as quickly as possible.

Why is the “Fully Loaded” tier restricted to only 2,000 backers?

Because EXTREME PREJUDICE is still available at retail (and store.privateerpress.com), we wanted to ensure those who are getting into the game for the first time have a good way to get their copy and to ensure we have enough in stock to fulfill those pledges.

Do I need to own or play [ESCAPE] to play [OMEGA PROTOCOL]?

No. You can start at any point in the series, as they each offer their own unique play style and experience. There is an escalation and story that winds through each game that can be rewarding for folks who campaign through them all.

Will you be using a pledge manager after the campaign, and can I add X, Y, or multiples of X and Y at that stage?

Our primary goal is to fulfill the rewards currently laid out in the campaign, but more may be possible; however, we want to ensure we do so in a measured and thoughtful manner that doesn’t overcomplicate our obligations or create logistical nightmares.

How long does the game take to play?

Each scenario takes around 90 minutes to play. A bit longer when you have a group of new players that are not familiar with the rules.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
